I use Capture One Pro as my main editing and management software, and I love its workflow and rendering of images. The transition to the GFX hasn’t been without its hiccups though. Compared to my Sony A7rII, the GFX’s superior ergonomics really won me over, and the film grain-like high ISO shots were a definite plus as well! Call it love at first handling if you will. I dont understand why all this apps have to be unstable when you pay this amount of money….If I were to classify my acquisition of the GFX 50S, I would definitely chalk it up to being an impulse purchase. If there was a search fuction it would save 3-6min per image……. Also there is no search option so if your in London UK and want a location in Brazil, you have to zoom out and scrool and scool then zoom in (this is after a lot of buggy zoom out and in), when you find Brazil you need to find the city then the area etc. An other anoying thing is that the google map intergration is very buggy as well, when you zoom out from a location it automaticlly zooms back in again and this is not sometimes this is almost all the time. There is no way to secure what you have done, just to start over… I have a powerful desktop which I run multiple image software at the same time without problems normally. It keep crashing after 30-40min work(batches of 20-30 images) If I do one file at the time I need to wait until the process is done before I can keep working. Great idea, works well on small files but larger files in batches are very un stable.
